POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Regional Sales Representative to join our Hospitality team. This position is responsible for developing profitable sales growth for dormakaba in the assigned territory by closing sales of electronic access control, cloud operating systems and integrated solutions in the hospitality sector, from lead generation or qualification through to sales closing. This comes in the form of new sales generation while nurturing existing customer relationships.

**This will be a remote role based in Los Angeles, CA**

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - $100,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Develops pipeline, progresses opportunities through the sales funnel while accurately forecasting revenue
  • Maintains good Salesforce CRM hygiene and associated systems, including contacts, accounts, opportunities, and relevant fields for forecasting product needs for manufacturing and sales leadership
  • Maintains deep relationships in the Hospitality Industry, also develops and maintains close relationships with new Hospitality management companies in the territory
  • Conducts product demonstrations for potential clients
  • Continues education with dormakaba new product introductions or industry technological standards developments
  • Develops suggestions for new product ideas of features based on customer feedback
  • Attends industry association meetings or trade shows, delivers presentations as the dormakaba Hospitality sales team representative
  • Participates in the development of sales and marketing strategies that further enhance the sales of dormakaba’s Hospitality solutions
  • Meets or exceeds territory sales budget as established by Regional Sales Manager
  • Participates in leadership, strategic planning, and business development team meetings as necessary

REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant Education, or minimum of 5 years proven field sales experience, or two years proven sales experience in the hospitality tech space

  • A strategic individual who pays attention to market trends through research, and voice of the customer
  • Passion for detail and accuracy
  • Ability to leverage technology in order to work smarter
  • Ability to articulate benefits and sell on value not just price
  • Ability to tailor the sales message and pitch depending on audience that can include IT Leader, Security Leader, Hotel General Manager, Purchasing Manager, or locksmith
